Who is responsible for your personal data?

TemporaryRentalsMexico S.A. de C.V., with address at Blvd. Manuel Ávila Camacho No. 5, Col. Lomas de Sotelo, Piso 10, Torre B, C.P. 53390, Naucalpan de Juárez, Estado de México, México., is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). This notice is provided in English for your convenience; the Spanish version is the legally authoritative text.

What personal data do we collect?

Depending on your relationship with us (site visitor, prospective guest, or confirmed guest), we may collect: contact information (name, phone, WhatsApp, email); official identification (valid INE for Mexican citizens, or a valid passport for foreigners) for signing the lease agreement; bank transfer receipts for rent payments and security deposits; communications you have with us via WhatsApp or other channels; and website browsing data (via Google Analytics): IP address, device type, pages visited, and associated cookies. We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, etc.) as part of our normal booking process.

What do we use your data for?

Necessary purposes (essential to providing the service you request): managing your booking and preparing the lease agreement; verifying your identity per our booking requirements; processing payments, security deposits, and refunds; communicating with you before, during, and after your stay; and complying with legal and contractual obligations. Secondary purposes (optional, require your consent, and you may decline without affecting your booking): sending you promotions or information about new properties; and analyzing website usage to improve the experience (Google Analytics). If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, you can let us know at any time by contacting us on WhatsApp.

Who do we share your data with?

We share personal data only when necessary to operate the service: with Google (Google Analytics), for website usage analysis; with Tawk.to, our live chat provider, so we can respond to your messages from the site; with our hosting/infrastructure provider, for the technical operation of the site; and when required by law before a competent authority. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to our business.

Cookies

Our website uses first-party cookies (to remember your preferred language) and third-party cookies (Google Analytics, for statistical purposes; and Tawk.to, to power the live chat). You can manage your preferences by configuring your browser to reject them, though this may limit some site features.

ARCO Rights

Under Mexican law, you have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, as well as to revoke any consent you have given us. To exercise these rights, contact us on WhatsApp or at legal@temporaryrentalsmexico.com including your name, the right you wish to exercise, and a copy of your ID. We will respond within the timeframe set by law (20 business days).

Data transfers

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties other than those mentioned in this notice, except where required by law or where you have given express consent.

Any modification to this privacy notice will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update.
