1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the TemporaryRentalsMexico S.A. de C.V. ("TemporaryRentalsMexico", "we") website or booking any of our properties, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. This notice is provided in English for your convenience; the Spanish version is the legally authoritative text. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. About the service

TemporaryRentalsMexico facilitates the short and mid-term rental of furnished apartments and houses in Mexico, typically for stays of 10 days to several months. We work directly with owners and managers of the properties listed on the site. TemporaryRentalsMexico acts as an intermediary between the guest and the property owner; the lease agreement is entered into between the guest and the owner (or their legal representative).

3. Booking process

To book, you must contact us on WhatsApp to confirm availability, sign the corresponding lease agreement, and make payment according to the terms in the payments section. A booking is not considered confirmed until the contract has been signed and the corresponding payment or advance has been received.

4. Requirements to book

To book, you will need: valid official identification (INE for Mexican citizens, passport for foreigners); and to read and accept the relevant building or condominium regulations. If you are traveling with pets that are not from Mexico, you must present their vaccination record covering at least the last 3 months. We reserve the right to decline a booking if these requirements are not met.

5. Payments and deposits

We only accept payments via bank transfer. For short stays, between 50% and 100% advance payment is required to reserve the dates; the remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of arrival. For stays of four months or more, a security deposit equivalent to one and a half months of rent is required (two months if traveling with pets), intended to cover possible damages or outstanding charges. The deposit is refundable within 24 to 72 hours after check-out, provided the property is returned in good condition and there are no outstanding balances.

6. Cancellation and refund policy

You may cancel your booking subject to the following conditions: 100% refund if cancellation is requested 15 days or more before check-in; 50% refund if cancellation is requested within 14 days of check-in. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (WhatsApp or email) and confirmed by our team. Refunds are sent to the same account that made the payment.

7. Guest responsibilities

As a guest, you agree to: comply with the building or condominium regulations; use the property only for temporary residential lodging purposes (not for events, parties, or commercial or illegal activities); not exceed the number of occupants authorized in your booking; not sublet the property to third parties; and promptly report any damage or malfunction. You are responsible for any damage to the property caused by you, your companions, or your visitors during your stay, beyond normal wear and tear.

8. Limitation of liability

TemporaryRentalsMexico acts as an intermediary between guests and property owners. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of property owners, for events beyond our reasonable control, or for indirect damages arising from use of the property. Our liability, in any case, is limited to the amount actually paid for the relevant booking.

9. Intellectual property

The content of this website (text, photographs, logos, design) is the property of TemporaryRentalsMexico or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproducing or distributing this content without prior written authorization is not permitted.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute related to these terms, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Mexico (Estado de México), waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
